We’re thrilled to start meeting the future members of our summer class. Application Information – Bay Area, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C. Applications are now open for the 2027 2L Summer Program. We encourage interested students to apply as soon as their applications are ready. We expect to conduct interviews from November through March. Offer decisions will be made on a rolling basis after first semester law school transcripts have been received. Students who accept a 2027 2L offer and who choose to spend their 1L summers working in public service, academia, government, in-house legal, or at a non-profit or legal clinic will receive a stipend in the amount of $42,500. * We are excited to invite all members of our 2027 2L Summer Program to an optional in-person introduction to Simpson Thacher in summer 2026, where they will have the opportunity to meet and connect with Simpson Thacher attorneys, Firm leadership, and their 2027 2L summer classmates. All travel and hotel expenses will be paid. Additional opportunities to connect with our attorneys and one another will be offered throughout the 2L year. *Payment details to be provided upon receipt of offer.
