Performs highly advanced (senior-level) grant development, coordination, and administration work. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employees at this level may be considered technical experts in the field and may also: Monitor and analyze grant work budgets to determine spending trends, areas of concern, and the general outlook of the grant. Develop requirements for grant programs and create grant applications that may be awarded by the grantor agency. Develop policies, rules, or regulations; coordinate guidance provided to staff and the community regarding grant administration, compliance, policies, and procedures; and resolve related issues and concerns. Initiate and coordinate cross-functional work groups composed of internal and external stakeholders to develop program objectives, work plans, and budgets. What Your Contributions to the GLO Will be: Acts as a subject matter expert on program deliverables and program compliance. Provides training, prioritization, coordination, and assignment of work activities to team members, other program staff, vendor staff, and builder staff. Acts as a team lead providing mentoring and guidance to junior level team members. Provides administrative assistance and consultation to leadership. Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of team members as related to assigned projects. Informs manager of significant issues with the team or team member. Performs grant management and oversight (including application reviews) throughout the life cycle of State Administered Housing Programs to ensure compliance with program guidance and applicable policies and procedures, statues, and rules. Monitors, reviews, and evaluates program activities, documents, and workflows. Provides technical assistance to program vendors and builders. Analyzes State Administered Housing program grant related data to evaluate program processes and procedures and makes recommendations for areas in need of change. Utilizes data to provide (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) reports outlining program workplans. Performs other special projects, as assigned. Serves as a liaison and representative for the GLO-CDR and its State Administered Housing programs. Communicates both verbally and in written form with team members, vendor representatives, builder representatives, members of other teams, and the general public about these programs. Develops various government related documents required by federal, state, local officials and interested stakeholders.
