Jane Johnson Dabney is a Managing Director at Jefferies, LLC and serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Global Energy and U.S. Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure investment banking groups.
Jane has been in the investment banking industry for nearly 20 years. Before Jefferies, Jane was a Managing Director and COO for the global energy group at the UBS Investment Bank from 2011 to 2016 and an Executive Director, Vice President, and COO at Morgan Stanley from 2006 to 2011. She began her investment banking career in 2002 at Salomon Smith Barney.
Jane currently serves on the Graduate Executive Board of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Board of Trustees of Episcopal High School. She spent over thirteen years committed to helping abused children as a court-appointed child advocate and formerly served on the board of Child Advocates, Inc for nearly ten years. She works with other community leaders in Houston as part of the Houston 20, an organization that advocates for victims and focuses on the fight against domestic sex trafficking in Houston.
Jane earned a B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Before Wharton, she spent nine years in financial services management in the U.S. and management consulting in Latin America.
