Dan O. Dinges joined Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation in September, 2001 as its President and Chief Operating Officer, and a member of its Board of Directors.  In May, 2002 he assumed his current position as Chairman, President and CEO.  Prior to joining Cabot, Dinges held various management positions over 20 years with Noble Energy.

Dinges is a current director of the American Exploration & Production Council (formerly Domestic Petroleum Council), America’s Natural Gas Alliance, Spitzer Industries, Inc., United States Steel Corporation, the Foundation for Energy Education, the Boy Scouts of America, and Palmer Drug Abuse Program.  Dinges is also a member of the All-American Wildcatter’s.  He graduated with a BBA degree in Petroleum Land Management from The University of Texas.
