Lindsey Howe Parham is a seasoned strategist and veteran of Texas politics with more than 25 years of experience in government, public affairs, and political campaigns with established statewide and national networks.
Lindsey has an intimate knowledge of Texas and its business and political leadership at the federal, state, and community level. She is known as a results-oriented professional with reliable judgement and experience in strategic and communication planning; issue advocacy; project management; and fundraising.
Lindsey serves as a Partner at La Cima Partners, LLC, a strategic consulting firm, and is President of LHP + Company, a public affairs consulting company based in Austin, Texas. She brings her vast expertise to help her clients pilot the increasingly complex and intertwined worlds of business, government, politics, and philanthropy.
Lindsey brings a wealth of organizational talent to her clients from her work with our state’s top elected officials. She served as Senior Advisor to Texas House Speaker Joe Straus, and serves as an advisor to Congressman Kevin Brady.
Prior to starting her consulting business, Lindsey served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. In this position, she served as a close advisor to the Senator throughout her tenure – in both Washington, D.C. and Texas; and in the Senate office and political committees. She worked to establish The Academy of Medicine, Engineering and Science of Texas (TAMEST), an organization the Senator co-founded to further position Texas as a science and research leader. Lindsey continues to advise TAMEST and is also a member of the Executive Council of the University of Texas Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law and Business.
Lindsey worked in The White House as Special Assistant in the Office of Presidential Personnel where she was responsible for filling the political appointment positions within the Administration of President George H.W. Bush.
Lindsey graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Communication. She is from San Antonio and lives in Austin with her husband Rob Parham and their 2 children.
